Counsel Peter Strauss (New York–Real Estate) was recently appointed adjunct faculty at St. John’s University’s newly minted Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law.  Peter will be teaching commercial real estate leasing. His respective practice experience includes advising and negotiating on behalf of clients in a wide range of transactions, including representing both owners and tenants in complex lease transactions in New York City and throughout the U.S. and owners in some of the largest office lease transactions in New York City in terms of square footage and in terms of highest rents fetched.

The Institute was designed to be the Law School’s academic and pre-professional training center for students with an interest in pursuing a career in real estate law. Among other opportunities, the Institute provides the knowledge, practical experience and ethical training required to excel in today’s real estate law practice through continuing legal education, industry conferences, expanded course offerings, clinical training, and externships and internships.
