Global law firm Shearman & Sterling today announces the appointment of Neil Kingsbury as specialist counsel in its Project Development & Finance practice in Singapore.

Neil brings significant experience in the financing, development, joint venture and marketing arrangements for energy & resources projects in the Asia-Pacific region, advising clients on the most complex, high profile and innovative energy and infrastructure transactions.  In recent years Neil has been INPEX’s lead in-house lawyer negotiating the key project and finance documents on the Ichthys LNG Project in Western Australia. With this experience he brings deep knowledge of the LNG sector and expertise in the development and financing of complex energy projects.
