Shearman & Sterling won “Technology, Media and Telecommunications Deal of the Year” for its work on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT)’s take-private of NTT Docomo at the ALB Japan Law Awards 2021. The firm advised NTT on that deal, which is the largest-ever deal of its kind in Japan and one of the largest worldwide.
