Shearman & Sterling advised BTV Multimedia Group on the structuring of the acquisition of all shares in Austrian STW Spleisstechnik West GmbH. Closing of the transaction took place on August 17, 2022.

BTV Multimedia Group is among the portfolio companies of DBAG Expansion Capital Fund, advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs, and is a group of trading and service companies that develop, produce and distribute components for the construction of cable and fiber optic networks. The transaction expands BTV Multimedia Groupʼs service portfolio, enabling it to implement fiber optic expansion projects of all sizes more efficiently. The parties agreed to keep the volumes of the transaction confidential.
