Shearman & Sterling represented Citibank, as lender, in connection with a $50 million bilateral Sustainability Linked Loan for Bancolombia, a bank and financial institution organized under the laws of Colombia. The loan, that includes ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards to facilitate and support economic sustainability and social activities of the borrower, is the first bilateral Sustainability Linked Loan for a financial institution in Colombia and Latin America.
