Shearman & Sterling advised BofA Securities as financial advisor to environmental services provider Ambipar Emergency Response (Ambipar Response) in connection with its $798 million announced equity value business combination with Brazil-focused special purpose acquisition company HPX and as placement agent in connection with the related private placement of Ambipar Response’s Class A ordinary shares. Ambipar Response is the surviving entity of the business combination, and its Class A ordinary shares and warrants began trading on the NYSE American under the symbols “AMBI” and “AMBIWS,” respectively, on March 6, 2023. Ambipar Response operates in six main business units: emergency response, fire response, marine response, medical response, industrial response, and environmental response, and is present in 39 countries across all six continents.
