Kevin McDonell is an associate in the Funds practice. Kevin’s practice focuses on a wide variety of legal and compliance matters related to private funds. Kevin has extensive experience representing private equity clients in fund formation and investment regulatory matters, as well as representing institutional investors in their alternative asset investments and bespoke investment arrangements. Most recently, Kevin was in-house counsel with a prominent global asset manager.

Before practicing law, Kevin was an intern with the in-house counsel team of a rapidly-growing technology startup company in Austin, where he assisted with client privacy issues, copyright actions, and contract due diligence.
