Omar Samji is a Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions partner and co-leads the firm’s Energy Innovation team.
He represents companies and investors in M&A, joint ventures, and project development in cutting edge sectors of the energy industry including: hydrogen; carbon capture, use and sequestration (CCUS); energy storage; and green industry. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of low carbon energy and decarbonization.
Omar is recognized as a “Most Effective Dealmaker” (Texas Lawyer 2020) and described by clients as a "very measured" lawyer who delivers "fantastic results” (Chambers USA).
