Chambers Latin America Highlights Shearman & Sterling Expertise

Chambers Latin America ranked Shearman & Sterling as Band 1 in Banking & Finance and Project Finance and also highlighted the firm for its expertise in Capital Markets, ranked as Band 2. Our firm was also recognized for its Corporate M&A work in Latin America.

In Capital Markets, partner Antonia Stolper was ranked as Band 1 and partner Stuart Fleischmann as Band 2. The publication highlighted our work representing Peru’s Intercorp Financial Services in its $468.6 million NYSE-listed IPO.

Partner Cynthia Urda Kassis took Band 1 recognitions in Project Finance. Chambers highlighted our role assisting various international financial institutions as lenders with Enel Green Powers' portfolio project financing of three solar photovoltaic plants in Mexico. The matter is valued at approximately $1 billion.

In the Banking & Finance category, Chambers recognized partner Denise Grant with a Band 1 status and highlighted our work as advisors to Mizuho Bank, HSBC Securities and JPMorgan Chase Bank on two credit facilities for Petróleos Mexicanos totaling $8 billion.
