Ira Aghai

Overview

Ira Aghai is a Tax associate in the Washington, D.C. and Houston offices of Shearman & Sterling LLP.

Ira provides tax advice to clients in a variety of industries in connection with mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, financing transactions, joint ventures, and oil and gas transactions. He has a special interest in partnership taxation and the BBA partnership audit rules. Prior to joining Shearman, Ira was a member of Deloitte’s Washington National Tax Passthroughs Group.
