Shearman & Sterling Advises Bolloré on Its Successful New Bond Issue
Shearman & Sterling advised Bolloré on the completion on a five-year €500 million euro bond issue, with an annual coupon of 2.00%. This issue was a private placement in France and outside France except the United States. The bonds are listed on Euronext Paris.
The order book of more than €2 billion confirmed investor confidence in Bolloré's financial condition, and the issuance was finalized with a lower interest rate than the price range initially indicated.
Through this new issue, Bolloré can further diversify its sources of financing and extend the average maturity of its debt.
The Shearman & Sterling team was led by partners Hervé Letréguilly (Paris-Capital Markets) and included of counsel Cyrille Niedzielski (Paris-Mergers & Acquisitions); counsels Séverine de La Courtie (Paris-Capital Markets) and Anne-Sophie Maes (Paris-Tax); and associate Amandine Souin (Paris-Capital Markets).
