Under the international arbitration law of Singapore, an arbitration agreement is an agreement in writing referred to in Article 7 of the UNCITRAL Model Law of International Commerce Arbitration (the "Model Law") and includes an agreement deemed or constituted under Section 2(3) or 2(4) of the International Arbitration Act (Cap. 143 A) (the "IAA") (see Section 2(1) of IAA)
