Shearman & Sterling Lawyers Participate in University of Texas Law School Symposium on ESG Landscape

Litigation partners K. Mallory Brennan (Houston), and Emily Westridge Black (Austin) and Litigation associate Danni Vorbrodt (Dallas) participated in the 2024 University of Texas School of Law Symposium: The ESG Legal Landscape, hosted by The Review of Litigation. The symposium was held in the Eidman Courtroom at The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas.

Mallory, Emily and Danni gave a presentation entitled “The Evolving Landscape of ESG Litigation,” which is based on a note they authored for The Review and which provides an overview of recent developments and trends in environmental, social, and corporate governance-related regulation and litigation. Shearman & Sterling advises clients on a wide range of Environmental, Social and Governance matters. Our multidisciplinary team of lawyers advises companies at various stages of maturity to respond to this changing corporate landscape.

The Review of Litigation is one of the most cited specialty journals in the U.S. Each spring, The Review publishes a Symposium issue of the journal and hosts a day-long accompanying event with authors, faculty, and practitioners.
